Early January seems to be the right time to take a look at the past year! And one thing is certain: It was a busy year for the Miniature Park in Kowary. At the same time it was one of the most successful years, the fact that we celebrated our 10th birthday is the best proof.

The regional, national and even international media reported about our Miniature Park. Many famous people visited our Park, among others the Archbishop of Cologne - Joachim Meisner - and the third after the Dalai Lama Tibetan dignitaries - Czongtula Rinpoche.

We presented our Park on the Tourism Fair in Jelenia Góra, we were invited to the embassy in Prague and received various awards such as the Medal of Merit of Lower Silesia.

Of course we also built new miniatures. One of the biggest miniatures that you can admire in our Park in Kowary has recently become the Castle Moszna. You will be amazed by the many details. Furthermore, we presented the miniature of the Cathedral in Kamień Pomorski in our Miniature Park in Niechorze.

We wish our guests and ourselves a successful year 2014!

Especially for the winter tourists we planned the premiere of our new model. One of the biggest miniatures that can be admired in our Miniature Park in Kowary has recently become the Castle Moszna. You will be delighted by the numerous details and the impressive workmanship. Even exotic plants adorn the conservatory and the main entrance of our miniature. Work on the model lasted seven months and the quality proves that our model builders are world class.

In a few days is Christmas. Pre-Christmas atmosphere can be felt in our Miniature Park. Thousands of colorful lights sparkle in the Park and cheerful Christmas carols play in our heated hall. Tourists who will spend the holidays in the Giant Mountains, should pay us a visit. As a reminder, again the opening times:

• 2nd Christmas Day - 9:00 - 17:00

• New Year - Closed

Also in the winter time our Miniature Park is worth a visit. The first snow of the season turned our Park into a magical winter landscape. The snow covered Giant Mountains is the perfect background. More snow in the next weeks has already been predicted. So dressed warm and equipped with a camera, we invite you to us in the Miniature Park. Daily from 9-17 o'clock!

An evening visit to our Miniature Park in November is a very special experience. Even when it gets dark the visitors of our Park will not be disappointed. Some miniatures are beautifully illuminated so many small details are visible and the whole Park shines like a fairyland. Take a look at the photos and you will be enchanted.

In our Café you can see all the awards that our Miniature Park in Kowary has received so far. Recently a price was added. Earlier this week Marian Piasecki (founder and owner of the Miniature Park) received another award from the city Kowary. The Mayor of Kowary - Mirosław Górecki congratulated for a decade of Miniature Park. Just two months ago, Marian Piasecki received the Medal of Merit of Lower Silesia. This prestigious award is given to people who have made ​​an outstanding contribution to the development and promotion of Lower Silesia in Poland and abroad.

The long list of famous people that visited our Miniature Park in Kowary was expanded by Szymon Wydra. On Monday (04.11.2013) the famous Polish singer and his wife visited our park. We present some photos!

Rain? No problem for us! If the weather is bad, we have umbrellas for our guests in the park. Please note that our model studio is always open to our guests. From Monday to Friday you can see our model builders at work. This additional attraction you should not be missed! After a long journey through Lower Silesia, it is a good idea to relax in our Café! Try our latest creation, jello with fruit and cream!

In early October the Miniature Park attended the official meeting of the Polish Ambassador in the Czech Republic. It took place at the Polish Embassy in Prague. It was a great honor because the Miniature Park was the only tourist attraction that was invited to this meeting.

It is the one day in the year where teachers do not talk just listen. This is Teacher's Day in the Miniature Park. This weekend our park guides had more than 30 organized groups of teachers from all over Poland. Among them were active teachers and those who are already retired. The weather was nice, typical golden Polish autumn! Below are some pictures from that day.

Our park has been visited by the staff of the television station DAMI. As a part of a documentary about the region around the Śnieżka mountain they did not want to miss our Miniature Park. Now we wait for the broadcast of the documentary.

A few days ago the first frost on the Śnieżka Mountain was sighted.If you visit our Park in the early morning hours you can enjoy our miniatures covered with microscopic ice crystals. Special attention should be given to the mountain lodges that look in such an environment as the originals.

Unofficial premiere of the miniature of the Moszna palace. In the last two days our park visitors had the opportunity to watch us work on the miniature. Due to the great interest of the national media, we presented the still unfinished miniature to the reporters and are now waiting for the article.
