The official premiere of the new miniature was held in Jawor. Now it's time for the premiere in our Park in Kowary. Since a couple of days, our guests have the opportunity to see the Church of Peace in Jawor in scale 1:25. It is right next to the Church of Peace in Świdnica. With today's start of the summer holidays, you finally have the time to enjoy a tour of Lower Silesia without a hurry. The new miniature even shows our regular guests more secrets of our region!

In our Miniature Park we not only present the most beautiful monuments of our region, but also a variety of different flowers. The annual, beautiful floral arrangements in our Park provide the perfect scenery for the presentation of our models. We want you to relax and feel comfortable in our Park and in the colorful environment of the flowers this is not difficult. In addition, you can enjoy an aromatic coffee or a refreshing ice cream in the Park Café and you will succumb to the charm of Lower Silesia!

As reported recently, we have completed the miniature of the Church of Peace "the Holy Spirit" in Jawor. Last Saturday we showed it for the first time to a wider audience. The presentation took place in the original Church of Peace in Jawor at a concert of chamber music. The concerts have a 20-year tradition and annually attract hundreds of visitors. Among the guests was the Protestant Bishop Ryszard Bogusz and the wife of the founder of the Foundation, which is currently busy with the renovation of the church in Jawor, Waltraud Simon. Due to the great interest in the miniature, it will also be presented next week in Jawor.

Our model builders have spent the last months building the miniature of the Church of Peace "the Holy Spirit" in Jawor. Now it is completed and will soon be presented in our Park next to the miniature of the Church of Peace in Świdnica. Our guests will then be able to compare the churches. Similarities and differences that are hard to detect at first glance, will be pointed out by our Parkguides. Like all our miniature churches, the Church of Peace in Jawor is true to the original in every detail. Proof of this is also reflected in the photos, which illustrate step by step the work of the model builders.

As is well known, the mascots of our Miniature Park are the dachshund Lumpy and his daughter Kaja. So if you are traveling with a dog, you are all very welcome to visit our Park. For your beloved four-legged friend we have bowls with fresh water and if a "mishap" happens we have plastic bags at the entrance. As you can see, we have thought of everything so that you have a relaxing time with us.

We are open daily from 9.00 to 18.00 o'clock!

The latest version of the guide "Lower Silesia open to all - 100 routes for people with disabilities" has been released and continues to promote active travel of disabled people in our region. Various sources gather there travel recommendations and their impressions. In May we welcomed representatives of the manual and they were able to see that in our Park it is possible to climb the Śnieżka Mountain in a wheelchair. And even people who have problems seeing or are even blind can "feel" the beauty of Lower Silesia. The entire area of the Park is designed so that everybody can visit it.

On May 19th, the Miniature Park in Niechorze celebrated its second anniversary! We can proudly say that our little sibling developed magnificently. In May we will be visited by many "small Gullivers", who admire the treasures of Lower Silesia in miniature. Who claims that history class is boring, certainly has not visited our Park! Here there is a happy atmosphere, accompanied by the melodies of the barrel organ, which is especially popular among the youngest.

Between May 9th and 10th 2014 the Tourtec Tourism Fair was held for the 16th time on the market place in the old town of Jelenia Góra. The exhibitors came from all over Poland, as well as from neighboring countries. Among others, there were stands of Świnoujście, Kołobrzeg, Opole and Legnicy. We brought specially for the exhibition in Jelenia Góra the miniature of the Czech castle Jilemnice. Our stand was one of the most popular at the fair. The visitors were impressed by the unique processing of the miniature and the attention to detail. Within two days, thousands of visitors came, which means that this was a record in the entire 16 years of the fair.

The 74th anniversary of the disappearance of the submarine ORP Orzeł is on May 25, 2014. This anniversary is special because the submarine will be again on the Polish coast for the first time after so many years. It is 10 times smaller than the original but includes the whole crew. Currently it is preparing for the long journey in Kowary. One more week you can admire it in our Miniature Park of the Lower Silesia Monuments. As of May 25th this miniature will be a part of the exhibition in Niechorze in the Miniature Park of the Polish Lighthouses. If you have not seen it yet, this is your chance. We invite you to Kowary! This year's weekend of May exceeded our wildest expectations. The second day in May proved to be a record number of visitors. And even if the weather did not always play along, it was mostly very pleasant. This year's weekend in May lasted four days at which 15 park guides told our guests about the history of Lower Silesia and about our miniatures. And after the visit was time for a small meal, few could resist the fresh bread with lard and homemade waffles. Simply delicious!

We have also witnessed the emergence of a new tradition. Throwing a lucky penny in the miniature fountain of the palace in Moszna was a new habit for our tourists. Apparently, all who have thrown a penny into the fountain, come to us again in the future :-)

If you will spend your long May weekend in the Giant Mountains, you should visit our Miniature Park of the Lower Silesian Monuments. In just one hour you will visit the most interesting architectural monuments of our region accompanied by a Park guide who will tell you some exciting facts. Our model builders have given the submarine the finishing touch and now it is ready to put to sea. We invite you to the Miniature Park in Kowary where you can admire the 8-meter-long miniature of the "Orzeł". The model is an accurate reconstruction of one of the most famous submarines in the history of the Polish Navy. It includes every little detail of the original and even has its own miniature crew. In May, the submarine will be presented in our Miniature Park of the Polish Lighthouses in Niechorze.

In addition to memories and images of the Miniature Park there are various other souvenirs in our shop. You will often encounter here a Dachshund: Cast in plush, made of wood or bronze, he recalls the story of the dachshund Lumpi. Great interest also arouses our Original Bolesławiec porcelain with its characteristic decorations. Not to forget the unique line products of Mysłakowice. The youngest tourists are always fascinated by the famous Czech wooden toys "The Little Mole".

If you are interested in our region we recommend a look at our literature corner of Lower Silesia. There you will find, among others a wide range of maps of the area. Also recommended is our Park Guide, with many photos of the Miniatures and the Originals as well as brief descriptions.
