Every year on the last weekend of September a fair of antiques and curiosities is held in the old town of Jelenia Góra. On these days you can discover long forgotten treasures such as old military items, books and antiques at many booths at the Town Hall Square and the surrounding streets. One of the most beautiful streets is the "Konopnicka" of which we also have a miniature in our park.

Between September 18th till 21st, 2014 the 25th International Rally of Tatra cars took place. We had the honor to welcome the beautiful cars and their owners in the Miniature Park of the Lower Silesia Monuments.
"Tatra" is primarily associated with the production of trucks, but the company also produced true luxury cruisers. Most cars you can see on the photos, are unique from the time when driving demanded a bit more effort from the driver. Look at the photos and at the same time, we encourage you to take a look at our guestbook.

See you in the Miniature Park!

The last rain has started the mushroom season in our Miniature Park! You will encounter different types at every turn! We have prepared a fabulous gallery of "giant mushrooms", which were found by our staff. If you want to see the mushrooms with your own eyes you can visit the park on any day of the week. Welcome!

The holidays are over and slowly the trees get their warm fall colors. For this reason, we want to take a look back at this summer and thank everyone who visited us. Without you, our dear guests, we would not be able to create this magical place. Enjoy watching our summer gallery and we remember that soon we will present new miniatures. And do not forget, the park is also open in winter! Daily from 9.00 to 18.00 o'clock! The secrets of Lower Silesia are waiting for you!

Our model builders are currently working on the German Castle in Bad Muskau. The Work began just last week, but already some parts are finished such as Cast window or ornaments of the facade. The photos show the progress of the work. It is time to consider where the finished miniature will be presented in the park because it will be one of the biggest. We will inform you when the miniature is completed. Or just visit us and look for yourself. Daily from 9.00 to 18.00 o'clock! And of course you can also take a look in our model studio.

At the beginning of the month our Park was visited by Czech Harley Davidson enthusiasts. This week we were visited by our western neighbors. They were arriving in various Mercedes Oldtimers. In addition to our beautiful miniatures the visitors also took pictures of the historic automobiles. As a reminder, the holidays are almost over. Take advantage of the remaining days to visit the Giant Mountains and our Miniature Park in Kowary. The tickets are good for all-day stay in our park and included in the price is the use of toilets, parking and taking photos.

Daily from 9.00 to 18.00 o'clock!

Yesterday the Miniature Park in Kowary celebrated its 11th birthday. The official opening of the Park took place in 2003 at the Comedy Film Festival in Lubomierz. It was the first time that our Miniatures were shown to a wider audience. 11 years ago we only had a few models, today we have 46 Miniatures. We are currently building the Miniature of the castle in Bad Muskau. We want to thank everyone who visited us in the last years.

Recently we found out about the renovation of the Palace in Karpnikach. We were very pleased to hear that because we present since many years the Palace in our Miniature Park in scale 1:25. A similar story took already place regarding the Palace Wojanów. First, in the original, immaculate condition presented in our Park as a miniature, the original was also restored years later. The official opening of the hotel in the historic building in Karpnikach is planned in less than a month. We wish the new owner and the team good luck and many guests. We recommend visiting the Facebook profile  Zamek Karpniki • Schloss Fischbach

This week our Miniature Park was visited by Norwegians from the village of Wang. The wooden church built in the town of Wang was taken to Karpacz in the nineteenth century by the Prussian King Friedrich Wilhelm IV. Accompanied by an animator the Norwegian tourist discovered Lower Silesia in miniature. Of course the greatest interest caught the miniature of the church Wang. This unexpected visit is the best proof that our Miniature Park is visited by people from different European countries and often even by tourists from all over the world.

From year to year we have more and more tourists from the Czech Republic. Our nearest neighbors visit us often in the summer because Czech students work in the holidays in our Park, and therefore we offer the guide tours also in Czech. Until recently, we only had Czech visitors who live on the Polish-Czech border, now we get visitors from all over the country. Last week we were visited by a motorcycle club from Prague. With great interest, they learned about the history of our region. We are open from 9:00 to 18:00 o'clock! We Welcome You!

-For the third time the beautiful south-west part of Poland is visiting our government buildings, "because it's worth it." - With these words, the delegate Ewa Kopacz opened this year's exhibition of "Palaces and gardens of the Jelenia Góra Valley". For us, this year's exhibition is very special, because one of the main elements of the exhibition is our miniature of the Palace Wojanów. Ewa Kopacz paid tribute to the preservation of the historic residences in the region and of course to the detail of our miniature. The exhibition is one of the most important events in the 10-year history of our Miniature Park. Let's hope that the event is a pulse for those who have not yet visited our beautiful region.

The Śnieżka Mountain is the main attraction that draws tourists in our region since a long time. It is one of the most frequently climbed mountains in Europe. In our Miniature Park we dedicate a lot of time to the Śnieżka Mountain. Our guests visit the peak twice, once the contemporary and once the summit of the Śnieżka Mountain from the 19th century. Recently, we added a telescope with which our guests can take a look at the wonderful summit of the Śnieżka Mountain and compare it with our miniature. On a clear day you can even see the tourists who try to climb to the summit.

Staying with us at the Miniature Park in Kowary is only limited by the opening times. After visiting the Park in the company of a animator, you should take your time and go for another walk to take pictures of our miniatures. You will notice many miniature people that illustrate how big the buildings are in reality. The gardener in the Castle Książ, the King of Prussia in the Palace Mysłakowice in the company of a miniature dachshund, wedding guests leaving the Palace Moszna or tourists who follow the path to the summit of Śnieżka Mountain on foot, are just a few examples. Get yourself on the search for further, daily from 9.00 to 18.00 o'clock!

The Mud Party is an event for fanatics of beautiful landscapes, mud and cars. By combining these three things the Mud party was created. The second edition of the festival took place in Jelenia Góra between 3rd and 6th of July 2014. During this time, the participants of the Mud Party could relax during the breaks in the Miniature Park in Kowary. Although the theme of our Park has nothing to do with cars, our guests were impressed by the unique miniatures.

The miniature of the fairy tale Palace in Wojanów was one of the first works of our model builders. Many guests have heard over the past 10 years the story of Princess Louise, who received the palace as a "small" wedding gift from her father. The first miniature of the palace will now be replaced, because our model builders have built a completely new one which was recently presented in our Miniature Park. As of July 20th, we will exhibit the new miniature in Warsaw in the Senate, where it will simultaneously represent Lower Silesia and our Miniature Park in Kowary.
