Winter attracts attention by covering the Giant Mountains with a fresh layer of white fluff! The miniatures have now snowed roofs and look even more similar to the originals. Our models are made of plastic and therefore waterproof. Frost is also not a problem. All guests who have skied enough and want a little culture should visit us.

The children of the Lower Silesia region already have winter holidays. Like last year the weather is very mild. A trip to the Jelenia Góra Valley seems to be the right choice. The easiest and fastest way to explore our region? A visit to our Miniature Park. All known monuments of Lower Silesia in just 45 minutes? This is only possible in our Park. And after that, our cafeteria offers various delicacies for re-energizing.

The term perspective is used primarily in painting and photography. But also very well known is the phrase: "look at things from a different perspective." Everything viewed from two different perspectives, results in two different images. This principle is the foundation of the Miniature Park. By looking at our models you can discover the monuments, you already know, in a new perspective. And for those who first become acquainted with the monuments through our Miniatures, should also consider to visit the "originals". Therefore, we have decided to not demand additional money for taking photos in the Park. We believe that taking pictures is a fundamental freedom.
We are open daily from 09.00 am until 5.00 pm!

Ski lovers will be happy. Finally we have real winter! More beautiful than you could have imagined when you think of the warm December. Most miniatures are now in the heated Park Café, but this photo gallery is dedicated to the miniatures that are outdoor all year round. Let's hope that the snow stays for a bit. Our Park and the miniatures look simply fantastic with their snow dress.

Twelve is a number with different meanings.

For the ancients it was a symbol of perfection and completeness. Hercules had to perform twelve tasks for his crimes . The first codification of the Roman law are the "Twelve Tables". We have twelve gods in Olympus, twelve tribes in Israel and twelve apostles. The European Flag shows 12 stars, despite the 28 Member States. To date, 12 people were on the moon. The sun reaches within 12 hours the highest point in the sky and reappears 12 hours later.

Since we have the twelfth month of the year, we present our annual summary!

January

January brought another nomination for the owner of the park, Mr. Piasecki, in the category "Personality of the Year 2013 Jelenia Góra ".
In the architecture studio began the work on the model of the submarine "ORP Orzel". The aim of the work: to finish by May 23th (anniversary of the departure of the last patrol).

February
The Valentine's month offered almost spring-like weather. Cardinal Joachim Meisner celebrated his 25th anniversary in service in the diocese of Cologne. It was a great honor for us to hand over on this special day a miniature statue of the Madonna (build by our model makers in Kowary) to the Cardinal.

March
This month was dominated by major tourism fairs. In the Czech town of Hradec Králové the Tourism Fair "Info Tour" was held, where we presented the miniature Vrchlabi Castle. A short time later the world's largest tourism fair ITB took place in Berlin. At the booth of Opole our miniature of the Moszna Castle was stealing the show.

April
The park presents two new exhibits for the season. The first is the Moszna Castle and the second is a replica of a barrel organ from the 19th century.

May
On the long weekend in May we beat our record number of visitors in one day! And in our sister park, Miniature Park of the Polish Lighthouses in Niechorze, the miniature of the ORP Orzeł was officially revealed ! (On the anniversary day!)

June
Big surprise! We present a second important miniature in a year! The miniature of the Church of Peace "the Holy Spirit" in Jawor! The special, the miniature was unveiled in the original church in Jawor.

July
A very important month for the Miniature Park. The current Prime Minister and Speaker of the Parliament, Ewa Kopacz, opened an exhibition of photographs on the theme "Palaces and gardens of the Jelenia Góra Valley". The highlight of the exhibition was our miniature of the Palace Wojanów , built by us especially for this occasion!

August
The Castle Karpniki (Fischbach) is being renovated. The miniature of the castle can be visited in our park since many years, but only since this year, you can admire the original in all its glory!
And big surprise in the park! We were visited by guests from the town of Vang in southern Norway, where 800 years ago the church Wang was created -a jewel of the Giant Mountains.

September
Every year in September mushrooms beautify our park. This year, a few oldtimer of the brand Tatra also beautified our parking lot.

October
The park begins to prepare for the winter season. In October this year, however, was perfect weather with temperatures up to 20 ° C. One of the best times to visit the Miniature park.

November
This year a lot has been written about our park. You can read everything under the section "Articles about us".

December
The year comes to an end ! We celebrate the festive premiere of the Palace Bad Muskau! We have no doubt that this miniature will be one of the most watched in 2015!

These were the 12 months of 2014 in the Miniature Park! We hope that many new stories will be written in our Park again next year! All thanks to our dear guests, without which we would not exist.

One should not forget that 12, as a symbol of completeness is also a symbol of happiness. And that, we wish you for the coming year as much as possible!

We are close of unveiling a new model. The team of artists "polish" the last edges of the miniature and on the 2nd Christmas Day every visitor can admire the Miniature Palace Bad Muskau with their own eyes. For this reason we have decided to present some pictures of the preparations. At the original palace a special exhibition on the theme "The most beautiful glass of Lusatia, 1947-1975" is held until January 31st. We wish you all a Merry Christmas and as always, we sincerely invite you to our Miniature Park of the Lower Silesian monuments!

All the Best for the upcoming year wish the owners of the Miniature Park of the Lower Silesia Monuments in Kowary and the Miniature Park of the Polish Lighthouses in Niechorze as well as the entire Team.

Winter has not yet found its way into the Miniature Park. The leaves are of course long gone from the trees, but snow can only be seen in the mountains. Out of concern for the wellbeing of our guests, we have already moved most of the miniatures into our heated hall. The festive days offer always the possibility for the whole family to spend some time together. Therefore we would like to remind you once again that the Park will be only closed over Christmas a little bit earlier on the 24th and entirely on the 25th. So there is plenty of time to visit us with the whole family.

The first frost this year covered our miniatures with beautiful ice crystals. Only in our miniature fantasy world, it is possible to make such photos.

Saint Nicholas Day is in a week! If you do not have any gifts yet and no idea how to surprise your loved ones this year, we can help you! In our gift shop and Park café you will find a lot of interesting gifts! Furthermore a advent fair is held in the castle Lomnitz from December 6-7! Of course we have already decorated our Park for Christmas. See for yourself. We are open daily!

Our model builders have been working for some time now on a masterpiece of architecture of the 19th century - The palace of Bad Muskau. The first decorations and ornaments already appear on the facades and towers. The structures and the precision are clearly visible on the photos. Visiting the Miniature Park, you can already take a look at the miniature and you will realize that no details are overlooked. The only difference with the original, the scale!

November is the ideal month for curious visitors. The leaves disappear from the trees and reveal hidden perspectives and fragments of monuments that are otherwise inaccessible for the eye in the summer. There are fewer groups so that you can enjoy in your own pace the architecture. Although the temperatures are lower, it is still a very good time to stay outside for a longer time. The long weekend in November would be a perfect time. On November 11th the park is open!

Our visitors often ask the modellbuilders how they are able to create so detailed miniatures. They reply that the only limit is your imagination. In the park, we recommend that you test this limit. When you visit us, you will need to take your camera and if you have no one who you can take care of your pet, take it with you! Dogs are always welcome at our park!
Only on November 1st, the Miniature Park is closed. We wish you a pleasant journey to the graves of your loved ones.

As promised, the owner of the Miniature Park, Marian Piasecki, decided to expand the Park on the surrounding area. In practice, this means more work in the coming months for our model builders. This year we managed to present to you in the Park, the Castle Moszna and the Church of Peace in Jawor. The work on the latest miniature, the Palace of Bad Muskau, are almost complete. We look forward to your comments. What Silesian monuments would you like to see in our Park? We also want to remind you that birthday "kids" get free admission to the Park and soon you will have to change the clocks to winter time. We also change them, therefore, the Park is open from 26th October "only" to 5 pm.

Not without a reason the Jelenia Góra valley is also called the "Valley of Palaces and Gardens". In the shadow of the Śnieżka Mountain there are more than thirty residences, most surrounded by a romantic park. From the nearby hills, the ruins of medieval fortresses of the former rulers of Lower Silesia look down at the palaces. It is difficult to imagine a better place for the emergence of the romantic era. The atmosphere of that time is still very much felt here. A great opportunity to enjoy this is the "Kiermasz Dożynkowy" (engl. Harvest festival-fair) to be held at the Lomnica Castle. The palaces in Lomnic and the neighboring Palace Wojanów, provide the opportunity to visit three beautiful residences at once. There is only one other place in the world where this is possible!
