The Lower Silesia Monument’s Miniatures Park has been established in Kowary in the neighborhood of a carpet factory. The goal is to create a euroregion information centre. Visitors of the Park have the unique opportunity to get familiar with monuments reproduced precisely in 1:25 scale.

Even in autumn it is worth to visit our Miniature Park. After exploring the Lower Silesia region in miniature, you can relax in our comfortable café. The warmth of the fireplace and an aromatic cup of coffee or tea invites you to linger. You can sweeten your stay with a warm slice of cheesecake with ice cream or a slice of apple pie with cinnamon.

Each year in autumn many mushrooms grow in our park. This year relatively early, yesterday we counted 41 mushrooms! Many of them are not edible, but inspire by the variety of shapes and colors. Autumn is now really close.

Last Saturday morning our parking lot was transformed into a military practice area. The Czech Military Vehicles Enthusiasts Club visited our Park. Most of the military vehicles were from the Second World War, but also some older models. The vehicle owners were dressed in matching camouflage.

As it turns out the Miniature Park is next to its function as an information center, a unique place for wedding photos. In the last 10 years many newlyweds visited us to make some memorable photos with our miniatures. We have compiled some of these photos for you.

Although fall has not yet started, you can see his first tentative footprints. Unique, colorful leaves start to decorate our miniatures. On a cold and wet morning dew droplets form on the leaves and cobwebs. The autumn may come.....

To keep you informed, we present some photos of our newest miniature. Within one month of work many new parts are ready. We work quickly to finish the miniature of the Moszna castle. We still have time to consider where we will place the miniature in the park. Not an easy decision, because it will be one of the largest miniatures.

The holidays are officially over but there is still much to do in the Miniature Park. While there are fewer individual tourists the September is always been a month for package tourism. Every day we welcome groups from Poland and Germany, today even from Denmark. We encourage our guests after the guided Park tour to take pictures. We also invite them to the Park Café, where we currently recommend hot chocolate and a delicious cream tube.

We celebrated the 10th anniversary of the Miniature Park in Kowary. We are glad that we were able to gather the entire team to remember the last decade. We ate, we laughed and we looked at old photos and footage of the early days of the park together. For each successful year, we finally fired a cannon shot. Our dog also got a piece of the cake.

From today you can admire at the entrance to the park our newest exhibit, a cannon. It will soon be delivered to our Miniature Park of the Polish lighthouses in Niechorze. There it will be placed at the lighthouse Hel. According to historical sources an audio signal was generated during fog by the use of a cannon.

These are the last days of summer vacation and we invite you to visit our Miniature Park. The photos illustrate some of the  smallest details of our miniatures. See for yourself.

Soon our miniature of the Moszna castle will be finished. 99 towers and many other details will delight our visitors. We will announce on our website when the miniature is presented to the public. Until then you can get a first impression by the photos.

This year the weather on the long August weekend was beautiful. Many guests took advantage of the beautiful weather for a visit to our Miniature Park.

One of the most important religious figures in Tibet visited yesterday our Miniature Park. After the Dalai Lama the third Tibetan dignitaries - Czongtul Rinpoche, admired the monuments of Lower Silesia in miniature.

Yesterday we were visited by prominent bishops, Stefan Cichy and Alexander Kaszkiewicz. The owner of the park, Marian Piasecki, welcomed them and accompanied them through the park.

On August 11th the Archbishop of Cologne, Cardinal Joachim Meisner graced us with his presence. A year ago he received for his efforts to save the art and culture in Poland, the Grand Cross of Merit of the Republic of Poland. We felt honored to welcome him in our Miniature Park.
