We invite you to the Park of Miniatures of Lower Silesia Monuments in Kowary. It was established in 2003 in the area of a former carpet factory. Our goal is to present the most important and most beautiful monuments of Lower Silesia. In the exhibition you will also see miniatures from the Czech Republic (Vrchlabí Castle, Jilemnice Castle, Frýdlant Castle and Chateau) and Germany (Görlitz Town Hall and Bad Muskau Chateau). We also serve as an information center for the Euroregion.
During a tour of our Park, you will see models of castles, chateaux, monasteries or town halls reduced to a scale of 1:25; at the time of its creation, the Krkonoše model was the largest miniature of a mountain range in Europe. The miniatures are made using the latest modelling techniques that withstand adverse weather conditions. The greenery, natural environment and the elaboration of objects down to the smallest details enhance the already beautiful monuments of our region.
A guide to the Park is included in the ticket price. Toilets, parking, photography and filming are free.
A guide will meet you at the entrance to the Park. During 45 minutes, he will introduce you not only to the history of our region, but you will also learn interesting facts about the monuments you will see. You will hear a romantic legend about the cruel Kunegundia from Chojnik Castle, the countess from “Spiż” Castle, who dreamed of eternal life, or about the king who had a residence built in the shape of a steamship. During a guided tour, many adventures await you.
You can admire the models of Lower Silesia’s monuments daily from 10:00 to 18:00. On the way from the parking lot, a miniature of the Frýdlant castle and chateau greets you, the model of the Basilica of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Křešov plays music by Johann Sebastian Bach, the model of Książ Castle represents a miniature of the largest – a hundred-meter-long – Lower Silesian chateau. In the most beautiful places of the Park, benches with a view of a pond with a fountain are prepared for you.
In case of bad weather (rain), we will lend you umbrellas for free.
We invite you to our café. On warm days, you will be refreshed by ice cream sundaes with whipped cream and chocolate or iced coffee. On cold days, we offer real hot chocolate or coffee. Its aroma spreads throughout the café. For young visitors, we have prepared various sweet ice creams that will refresh you even in the hottest weather. You can enjoy fresh fruit desserts not only at a table in the café, but also in the fresh air among the miniatures. The park is decorated with wicker sculptures.

In a shop with typical Polish and Czech souvenirs, everyone can choose. We cooperate with the company Detoa Albrechtice, which produces wooden toys with the famous “Mole”, and Tioka-Ikaria Červený Kostelec supplies us with models of steam engines. We offer magnetic theater, yo-yo, fridge magnets, key chains, books, puzzles and many more. For women, we have prepared a large selection of textile products such as pillowcases, napkins, placemats, tea towels. The saleswoman, who has worked with costume jewelry for a long time, will help you choose the right silver ornament.

We bring home various souvenirs from our vacations that remind us of the places we visited. We offer not only guides to the region, but also maps with hiking trails in our mountains. Younger visitors take home wooden 3D puzzles, figurines of the famous Spirit of the Mountains or the mascot of the Miniature Park – the dog “Lumpi”.

In addition to the café, we have also opened a bistro for you. We offer hot dogs, hamburgers, fries and waffles with fresh fruit and whipped cream. You can choose not only classic drinks, but also Czech beer.
