Miniature in the park
  • Vang Church

This wooden church was built between the 12th and 13th century in the Norwegian town of Vang which was located by the shores of the picturesque lake Vangsmjösen. King Frederick William IV of Prussia bought and subsequently moved the church to its current location, thanks to the suggestion of countess von Reden. The church was meant to serve the local protestant community. Today it is an absolutely unique monument of Norwegian architecture in Europe.

This miniature was built by four artists in one month.
